Garden & Grow Sisterhood Event

On August 23rd, a beautiful sunny day at Central Park, we organized our first-ever Garden & Grow Sisterhood Picnic. We celebrated inner beauty, self-love, and the debut of our new Minty Floral scent. As the founder of Gazing Green, it was such a pleasure to bring together a group of beauty enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and influencers for an intimate day of connection, laughter, and soft energy.

When the guests arrived, they were greeted by a soft, luxurious picnic setup that was flanked by pale, earthy tones and soothing music, creating the mood for a women's empowerment space. The picnic blankets were adorned with round wooden trays of fresh green grapes, lemons, candles, and our Gazing Green Hair Elixir bottles holding rosemary and lavender sprigs. There were delicious sweets to choose from on the pastry table, including our signature drink, the Garden & Glow Spritz, and strawberry sparkling refreshments.

Bloom & Pose and the Hair Glow Circle

The event was designed to foster unity, confidence, and self-appreciation. We began with a mini canvas painting session modeled after our portrait artist, where the ladies unleashed their creativity, outlining a Hair Elixir bottle, and expressed themselves through art. The Bloom & Pose with various flowers for creating bouquets for their content. Finally, the Hair Glow Circle, a time for open and honest conversations about hair maintenance, growth, and the journey to self-acceptance. The ladies were taken away by the scent and the compelling aromas of ylang-ylang combined with moringa.

While connecting with guests, I was able to share my brand’s story and the emotional pieces it ties to the education of natural herbs from my nana. They shared their hair struggles and routines, connecting on a level of understanding and sisterhood. It was motivational to see the women supporting and encouraging one another to participate.

Embracing Our Female Community

One of the best parts of the activity was getting to know the Gazing Green community on a more personal level. I was able to share time with the ladies, answer their questions, and encourage them to invest in themselves. Ending the evening with luxury gift bags sampling our signature Hair Elixir and collaborating with BonitaFatima for handcrafted luxury bracelets.

Looking Ahead

The Garden & Grow Sisterhood Picnic was so successful, and it only made me want to offer more means for the Gazing Green community to connect, support one another, and celebrate their beauty and hair-care journey. In the future, I'm excited to continue hosting events that bring women together and foster deep connections.
